from Ao Nang or Krabi Town, you'll visit
Wat Bangriang first. This mountain-top temple
is a sanctuary for birds. Common sightings include
a variety of bulbuls, flowerpeckers and sunbirds
as well a Red-throated Barbets, Blue-eared Barbets,
Raffle's Malkoha, Barn Swallows, Asian House-Martins,

Wat

cave temple with a charming layout which includes
stairs up to a couple of levels of cave temples.
From these lofty perches you'll look down on tree-tops.
This is very easy and comfortable birding as you'll
be in the shade and you'll be surrounded by Buddhist
statues. Crimson Sunbirds, a
variety of warblers, Blue Whistling Thrushes,
Blue Rock Thrushes, Asian
Paradise Flycatchers, Brown Hawk-owls,
